What is broadcast?

It means channels that can be picked up using a simple antenna. Usually, this means channels like whatever the local Fox, ABC, NBC, and CBS affiliates are in your area.

Basically, if you can hear the word in primetime programming on one of those major networks, it can be said here. Which already counts out everyone's favorite four letter f-word that you've seemed quite comfortable tossing out.
